Jan. 24 & 25

Saturday, January 24: MCCSC athletic and extracurricular events scheduled to conclude before 5:00 p.m. and events in which students on buses arrive back to school before 5:00 p.m. may continue as planned. Our road crews are pretreating roadways, and we do not anticipate significant snow accumulation before 5:00 p.m. Specific information about individual events, including any changes to athletic or extracurricular schedules, will be communicated directly by athletic departments, coaches, or team/club sponsors.

Monday, January 26: We will monitor weather conditions throughout the weekend and communicate any decisions about Monday school operations as early as possible on Sunday. Our team considers many factors when making weather decisions—including current and forecasted conditions, wind chill temperatures, input from meteorologists, local law enforcement, city, county and state highway officials, transportation staff, and coordination with surrounding school districts.

As a reminder, please refer to our website for more information on how decisions to delay, close or dismiss early are made.
